Trainer: Rhett Finley, DDS, MS
Dr. Finley attended Dental School at the University of Minnesota and received his D.D.S. degree in 2010. To further enhance his dental skills, he completed a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at the University of Colorado Denver, where he received training in endodontics, oral surgery, surgical and restorative implant therapy, and comprehensive management of the dental patient.
Dr. Finley returned to the Twin Cities in 2011 and practiced general dentistry for three years in Burnsville and Plymouth. Through his GPR training and his time as a general dentist, Dr. Finley has developed a broad understanding of all areas of dentistry which has been invaluable in the diagnosis and treatment planning of his endodontic patients. During his time as a general practitioner, he developed a strong appreciation for the field of endodontics, and he ultimately decided to return to the University of Minnesota for his specialty training. In 2016, Dr. Finley earned a certificate in Endodontics and a Master’s Degree in Science for his research project investigating the bone biology involved with traumatic dental injuries.
Dr. Finley maintains active membership in the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and the Minnesota Association of Endodontists (MAE). He is presently pursuing board certification and has passed two of the three exams necessary to become a Diplomate in the American Board of Endodontics.
